Shell Technologies is preferred by Insurance Companies, which provides its client a back end solution, for the processing of physical application forms. The responsibility of the product is to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency, which are here described in this manual.
- Before proceeding to data entry a master needs to update into software with the following information,
a) Campaign details.
b) Product details.
c) Plan details.
DATA ENTRY ACTIVITY : Data entry of a single form undergoes first level and second level data entry process to ensure 100% accuracy; the entire form will be captured and digitized, data entry of physical form need to furnish as per the physical form only irrespective of spell mistakes etc. FIRST LEVEL DATA ENTRY : For first level data entry select “Complete” option from main menu, a drop down menu will display, select “Data entry” option from it and a extension menu will invoke select “Data entry level 1” from it SECOND LEVEL DATA ENTRY : In second level data entry, the same from will be entered for second time with different operator, similar to first level data entry need to select “Complete” option from main screen thru menu bar for second level data entry. RECONCILIATION ACTIVITY : On completion of entire data entry of physical form, a reconciliation process will be done, on both first and second level data entry to ensure 100% accuracy.Software does the reconciliation by selecting “complete” option from main menu a drop box appears where compare levels need to be selected FILE GENERATION ACTIVITY : On completion of data entry and reconciliation process, the software will generate a final dat file; the same need to be sent to the client SOFT COPY : A soft copy which has been generated thru software, the DAT file will be copied into the compact disk and sent to the client. HARD COPY : Hard copy (physical application forms) will be dispatch to client on daily basis.
